The Vision

The vision is to raise 20 labourers, train them over 4 years, and send them to 20 unreached and least-evangelized people groups. This initiative aims to raise a local workforce for the rural mission fields.

Overview of the Vision 20-4-20 Workforce Training

This training is designed to equip a group of Christians and young believers, preparing and sending them into the mission fields to pioneer and strengthen churches. The training provides a semi-formal, specialized program intended for a unique kind of workforce.

The training approach allows for significant personal interaction between facilitators and participants. It is a form of targeted discipleship, aimed at producing a specific kind of labourer — missionaries equipped to serve in the least-evangelized fields: the lands and communities where TETMI plans to plant new churches.

The first training session took place from March 26th to 28th, 2025, with nine participants in attendance. Four participants were from the Benue Zone, four from the Ebonyi Zone, and one from Cross River.

Highlights of the Training

  1. The Forge

The Forge was a special session held each morning and evening. It featured informal, personal interactions between the participants and Rev. Dr. Umune. Real-life issues such as salvation, deliverance, faith experiences, and personal relationships were discussed. Participants were encouraged to ask honest, relatable questions.

  2. The Prayer

This session provided a space for participants to address personal and spiritual matters in prayer. Many of the issues raised during the teaching sessions were further explored and resolved in prayer.

Participants expressed great excitement about being part of the Workforce Training, testifying that they felt blessed to be among the special forces. They pledged to give their best when they return to the mission field.
